Let's bring LIFE to these homes!

March has been a very full month (that is already flying by!) and we’ve received an influx of new client applications all in desperate need of a healing space. During our staff meetings every week, we take time to read and pray over each new client, her family, and the organization she is being referred from. This month we want to give you guys a chance to partner with us in prayer and generosity over these incredible women and their recovery.

Meet Miss H: After fleeing a traumatic upbringing, Miss H came to Chattanooga to start a better life with her 8 month old son. She has been attempting to live with relatives but that has turned out to be difficult and dysfunctional, being forced out unexpectedly or having to live in situations without electricity or heat. Her son’s immune system has suffered greatly and she has struggled to keep him well. She recently got a temporary placement in a local homeless shelter.

She’s recently joined Exodus Ministry’s 12-month faith-based supportive housing ministry and has secured her very first apartment, gotten a job, and found childcare for her little one while she works. Exodus Ministries has been such a huge cheerleader of Miss H’s story and we are very excited to create a space that will bless and support her recovery and her new life.

Would you help us create a haven for Miss H? Any amount helps us transform her empty apartment into a space that reflects the love we have for her!

Meet Miss C: Upon entering Parternship’s domestic violence shelter in 2018, Miss C was emotionally and physically broken. She spent the next year trying to rebuild her life and recover from a long series of abuses. She is a mother, grandmother, and survivor who lights up when she talks about her grandchildren. Upon completing intensive counseling and the New Visions program at Partnership, she got her very own apartment last year. She enjoys cooking, gardening, and letting her grandchildren spend the weekends at her new place. We felt so much respect for her courage to try and show her daughters and granddaughters a new way to do life.

We are honored to begin creating a healing, therapeutic home for Miss C that will allow her to enjoy her passions and her people. Would you help us create a haven for Miss C?
