Requirements and Responsibilities

Helps manage the programs everyday’s activities which involve the scope with the organizations missions.

Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.

Extensive knowledge of department processes. 

Responsible for creating client design plan, shopping lists, maintaining project budget, and shopping for necessary items in preparation for home installs. Communicates and collaborates with the Executive Director on the progress, design, and evaluation of all projects.

Assists in designing programs that align with the organization's mission and support the organization's goals. Enforces a trauma-informed model of conduct with clients, volunteers, and staff.

Manages volunteers that assists with programs for a non-profit organization and will work in conjunction with Volunteer Manager.

Assists in planning for special events that publicize the organization and its programs to the community.

May assist in the development of grants applications or proposals.

Manages subordinate volunteers in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.

Delivers the authority to supervise and control volunteers.

Coordinating and evaluating the availability, pick-up and drop offs, quality and condition of furniture donations. Responsible for communicating with potential donors about furniture donations. Also in charge of organizing the inventory at the office and warehouse.

Possesses strong organization and time management systems in order to sustain the projects and look after the contacts which might be most necessary in the organization. Solid interpersonal skills and able to be a powerful and efficient communicator, as well as proficient on the computer and Google Drive.

Maintain good relationships with all the staff and communicate with the heads within the organizations together with other office leaders as a way to collaborate together with the projects as well as evaluate programs.

Work Schedule

We do have a relatively flexible work-life culture, however our main working days are Tuesday (9-4pm), Wednesday (9-4pm), and Thursday (9-4pm) with Home Installs scheduled on Friday or Saturday mornings (8:30am-1:30pm). We usually have one or two home installs a month and a few special events scattered throughout the year.
